In the Beginning
In 1858, John Landis Mason invented the screw cap, a vast improvement on the wax and cork of the time. The screw cap has dominated the market for over a century, but is far from perfect.
In the 21st century, technology has advanced, but we still face problems like soaked backpacks, tight lids and the safety risks of using both hands to drink.
Flip caps and straw lids have tried to solve these challenges, but leaks and cleaning hassles still impair the drinking experience and bottle functionality.
2014 Revolutions
In 2014, Hui Shao grew tired of the many disposable coffee cups in Portland's rubbish bins. Even with a thermos, he was still plagued by spilled coffee. As a mechanical engineer, he wondered why no one had invented a better solution than the screw cap.
Determined to find an answer, Shao spent two years designing and testing and invented the Revomax threadless lid. With its one-hand, 2-second opening and locking, this lid sets a new standard for sealing - a revolution that combines innovation, convenience and reliability.
2024 - Revomax in Denmark
